The Mumbai Organic Fest 2019 that happened on 2nd and 3rd March was an event that encouraged the real farmers to display their yield. It was a collation of different organic products brought together at one place with a motive to cultivate awareness about the truly natural products among people. The event was hosted at Kanakia Codename Future, a project by Kanakia Group with around 150 to 200 actively participating in it.

The 2-dayer event marked its beginning on the 2nd of March, on Saturday at 4 pm. The venue made this event even more interesting as Kanakia Group itself believes in leading a healthy lifestyle and hence encourages the same. The Mumbai Organic Fest is one of the many initiatives undertaken by them to promote healthy living. The event began with live counters for coconut water and fresh sugarcane juice, followed by organic chocolate smoothies to pump up the mood. There was a huge spread of vegetables, fruits and organic eatables and products at different stalls. The food stalls were filled with people who were constantly trying out organic food like pani-puri, chaat, etc.

The Shiv Fit team, a complete fitness program centre, came on the stage and grabbed everyone’s attention! They demonstrated many techniques and gave tips on how to keep you close to a fitness routine. This was followed by a musical performance by Sarang Gosavi and his band.

Day 1 came to a conclusion with the felicitation of honourable individuals.

Day 2 recorded a wave of enthusiasm as the venue was crowded with people from all over the city wanting to try organic food! Abhishek Nair, a fitness influencer, attended the event to make it count. Children seemed to be the most excited as there were fun games throughout the evening for them. Pottery, bangle making, and fun games made the evening a memorable one for the kids who not only had fun but learned a great deal about organic food and farmers.

The Ram Trio band captured everyone’s attention with their Sufi and folk numbers and made everyone swoon to their tunes!

In the presence of healthy organic products, hot and delicious food, enthusiastic people and soulful musical performance, the Mumbai Organic Fest 2019 came to an end on a perfect note.
